The Summit Sound Studios Story
Summit Sound Studios was born from a shared frustration. Curtis and Ricardo, both working musicians and producers, found themselves constantly choosing between affordable home setups and prohibitively expensive professional studios.
In 2020, they decided to build something different: a professional-grade recording facility that treats artists as collaborators, not clients. Located in the heart of Vancouver's Mount Pleasant neighborhood, Summit Sound quickly became a creative hub for local talent.
Today, we've worked with over 200 artists across every genre imaginable. From bedroom producers taking their first steps into professional recording, to established acts polishing their next release — every artist who walks through our doors becomes part of the Summit Sound family.

Meet the Team
Curtis has been immersed in music since picking up his first guitar at age 12. After a decade of performing, touring, and producing for other artists, he realized his true passion lay behind the mixing desk. With formal training in audio engineering from Vancouver's Nimbus School of Recording Arts and years of hands-on experience, Curtis brings technical expertise paired with an artist's ear to every session.

Ricardo's journey began in São Paulo's vibrant music scene before moving to Vancouver to pursue his production career. His background spans classical piano training to electronic music production, giving him a unique perspective that bridges genres and eras. Ricardo's collaborative approach and keen sense of arrangement have helped countless artists find their sound and bring their visions to life.

Zanies journey began in Mexico's vibrant music scene before moving to Vancouver to pursue his production career. His background spans self taught bass to electronic guitar playing, giving him a unique perspective that bridges genres and eras. Zane Brain's collaborative approach and keen sense of arrangement have helped countless artists find their sound and bring their visions to life.
